Cage Diving

BLUE SHARKS

Blue sharks are the most common shark in Martha's Vineyard.  Blues average anywhere from six to ten feet and weight on average 100 to 300 pounds.  Blue sharks are long distance swimmers and prey on squid and fish.

Seen on 10/10 dives.

Open Water Dive

MAKO SHARKS

Mako's are pound for pound the strongest sharks in the ocean.  They are also the fastest, reaching speeds over forty miles per hour.  The waters off the Vineyard are one of the best places to see Makos in the world.

Shark Viewing

BASKING SHARKS

Basking sharks are the second largest fish in the world.  Basking sharks are often seen swimming right on the surface of the ocean making them easy to dive with.  The best time to see these sharks is June and July.

Whale & Seal Watching

TIGERS - DUSKIES - HAMMERHEADS -

These are rare sharks for the waters here.  During the peak of the summer in late July through early September they can be seen when the water of the Gulfstream moves inshore
